Technicien de surveillance de la conformité et de la sécurité / Compliance Monitoring and Safety Engineer

Main activities and responsibilities:

Compliance Monitoring/ Quality:

Regulations and Safety

  • Review changes in applicable regulation & standards, evaluate the impact on Airways Management System documentation and establish an action plan in collaboration with the manual owners
  • Liaise with Aviation Authorities (DGAC)
  • Perform a Risk Assessment of findings raised during audits/inspections in accordance with the Safety Management System procedures
  • Report and records in the ECCAIRS database all events/incidents raised during operations of aircraft


  • Amend and develop ATO and FSTD Manuals
  • Review amendments to documentation to verify compliance with the applicable regulations and standards
  • Ensure that the EASA compliance checklists are updated in collaboration with the manual owners


  • Prepare and perform assigned internal and external audits/inspections as part of the annual Audit program in accordance with Airways audit process and procedures
  • Ensure that the root cause analysis for  findings has been performed and review the correctness of the identified root cause.

Other activities:

  • Perform Theoretical knowledge instruction (TKI) and Flight Instruction (FI)




  • Experience in the aviation industry, preferably within a quality department.
  • Hold or have hold a CPL/IR with ATPL Theory
  • Current Type rating is an asset
  • Experience in audits is an asset
  • Good knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA Air-Ops, EASA Air Crew),
  • knowledge in other aviation regulations (CAAC, FAA, TCCA) is an asset.
  • Fluent in French /English (both written and spoken)
  • Knowledge in ISO/AS9001 standards
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal at all levels.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office software and/or Open Office software packages is essential
